Russell Tobin's client, a manufacturing company in the US, is hiring Research Assistants/Customer Service Rep in Beaverton, OR .Position: Research Assistant/Customer Service RepLocation: Onsite at WHQ Monday through Thursday, Remote on FridaysPay Rate: $20 - $22.54 /hour.Duration: 1 yr contractJob Opportunity: Research Assistant - Field Research TeamWe are looking for a passionate and dedicated Research Assistant to join our Field Research team. This team studies athletes as they move outside of the lab, in their daily lives and environments, using various research tools like sensors and surveys. Your role will be pivotal in supporting large-scale field research initiatives and ensuring smooth operations across all phases.Responsibilities:Provide athlete-facing support throughout all phases of sport research programs, including recruiting, onboarding, participation, and offboarding.Manage relationships with athletes, ensuring retention and compliance with study requirements.Communicate with researchers, athletes, and other team members to provide study details, troubleshoot equipment, and share updates.Oversee inventory management for research tools and products.Track and report relevant study metrics to ensure research goals are met.Skills:Familiarity with Airtable, Campaign Monitor, Adobe, and Excel.Experience in customer service, customer relations, and project managementDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently.Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains.Requirements:1-2 years of experience in athlete- or customer-facing roles (preference given to those with athlete experience).Research experience is a plus but not required.Benefits that Russell Tobin offers:Russell Tobin offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), a 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, identity theft protection, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with some preferred vendors.
