At Niagara, we're looking for Team Members who want to be part of achieving our mission to provide our customers the highest quality most affordable bottled water.Consider Applying Here, If You Want ToWork in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment with a chance to make an impact.Develop lasting relationships with great people.Have the opportunity to build a satisfying career.We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our Team Members.Warehouse Department ManagerJob Summary DetailsOversees activities of warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory, training and safety.Maintain inventory accuracies of 98% or above.Manage hours for cost per case.Oversee shipping and receiving discrepancies, RMA's.Schedule staff based on volume.Training of forklift drivers, administer road tests and certification.Establish operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.Inspect physical condition of warehouse and equipment.Prepare work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control and purchasing.Direct salvage of damaged or unused material.Perform month end inventory and cycle counts to ensure physical inventories reconcile with books.Ensure maintenance of clean, orderly and safe warehouse.Participate in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.Build a positive work environment.Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.Please note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
