"Lead the Future of Irrigation Excellence at Roebuck Landscaping"SUMMARY:The Irrigation Service Repair Manager will lead and enhance RWNL's Irrigation Service Repair Division, ensuring top-tier service, system efficiency, and team development. While this role includes leadership, training, and strategic oversight, it is also a hands-on position responsible for performing daily irrigation service and repair tasks. This role is pivotal in establishing operational excellence, developing a high-performing team, and driving service growth. We are the go-to landscaping destination in the upstate of South Carolina, and we can't wait to have you on board!ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Advanced Diagnostics & Troubleshooting (Hands-On):Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems, including controller failures, valve malfunctions, low/high water pressure issues, system leaks, and piping (2-wire & 3-wire).Perform routine maintenance, system checks, and emergency repairs as needed.Optimize irrigation performance through adjustments, replacements, and new system installations.Ensure proper water conservation techniques and system efficiency.System Maintenance & RepairPerform winterization and spring startup services to maintain system integrity.Expertise in pump systems (suction lift, floating intake, booster pumps) and filtration.Technical Leadership & Team Development:Oversee daily service technician routing and scheduling for efficiency.Recruit, train, and oversee 1-2 irrigation technicians, setting clear performance expectations.Provide hands-on training, coaching, and mentorship to enhance skill levels and efficiency.Lead by example in the field, demonstrating best practices and quality workmanship.Customer Relations & Service Excellence:Build strong relationships with commercial and residential clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.Educate clients on irrigation system care, water conservation strategies, and available service plans.Recommend enhancement services such as system retrofits, smart controller upgrades, and annual maintenance contracts.Operational Oversight & Efficiency:Utilize ERP/service tracking software (e.g., Aspire) for work order management and reporting.Ensure service vehicles are properly maintained, stocked, and equipped for daily operations.Manage inventory levels of key irrigation components (valves, controllers, sensors, wiring).Develop and implement best practices for scheduling, workflow management, and service execution.Financial & Business Performance:Manage service budgets, pricing structures, and financial performance.Identify revenue growth opportunities through new service offerings and maintenance contracts.Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high-quality serviceKEY REPONSIBILITIES: FIRST YEAR EXPECTATIONS & ONGOING EXCELLENCEEstablish a high-performing irrigation service team, hiring and training top talent.Develop and implement service and repair protocols, ensuring seamless execution and efficiency.Enhance operational workflows, optimizing job scheduling and response times.Set the standard for service excellence by personally leading complex irrigation diagnostics and repairs.Expand revenue opportunities, identifying new service offerings and upselling maintenance contracts.Foster strong client relationships, ensuring retention and repeat business.Lead team development, mentoring technicians and creating future leaders within RWNL.LEADERSHIP PROFILE: EMBODYING OUR CORE VALUESAt RWNL, leadership means embodying our core values to shape our culture.
