Our client is a leader in the legal industry and they are looking to add a Corporate Legal Assistant to work with Trust and Estate. In this role the Legal Assistant will support corporate attorneys specializing in estate planning and trust administration, primarily by managing client files, drafting legal documents, coordinating with beneficiaries, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, all under the supervision of lawyers, while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information; key responsibilities may include gathering client data, preparing estate planning documents like wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, assisting with probate filings, communicating with financial institutions, and maintaining accurate case records. Draft and revise estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives under attorney supervision, prepare necessary forms for probate court filings and proofread legal documents for accuracy and formatting.
