Electromechanical TechnicianJob Summary: This role will assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.Duties & Responsibilities:Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at the country, state, and federal levelsPerform safety-related functions and other miscellaneous electrical functionsCompetent with the configuration of VFDsMust possess a demonstrated ability to safely utilize a forklift and high liftKnowledge and ability to troubleshoot PLCsMust be physically capable of performing work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.Proficient in testing and troubleshooting electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and megaohm meters, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.Utilizing a systematic approach to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and avoid replacing parts.Qualifications:High School diploma or GEDElectrician License or two-year electrical program (highly preferred).Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.Must be available to work 12-hour day and/or night shifts, weekends, call-outs, and overtime.Must have at least 5 years of 24v troubleshooting and PLC experience Must be a journeyman electrician (highly preferred)Must have experience working on automated machinesMust be able to interpret blueprints and schematicsAll candidates are expected to have their own tools:MultimeterWire strippersSide cuttersBasic set of screwdriversBasic wrench set (SAE/Metric)Basic Power tools (ie. Impact Driver & DrillAllen Wrenches (SAE/Metric)Basic Socket Set (SAE/Metric)Pay: $58k-$72k
