Pride Health is hiring a Nurse Manager - Emergency Department to support our client's medical facility in Brooklyn, NY. Job Title: Nurse Manager - Emergency DepartmentShift: Evening (4:00 PM to 12:00 AM)Schedule: 5x8, Exempt position (no overtime)Location: Brooklyn, NYGuaranteed Hours: 40 hours per weekJob Summary:The Emergency Department (ED) Nurse Manager is responsible for the 24-hour management, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the department. This role involves overseeing daily operations, staffing, quality improvement, and maintaining a collaborative work environment. Weekend and holiday coverage as needed.Key Responsibilities:Operational Performance: Develop staffing schedules, monitor operational performance metrics, and ensure adequate daily coverage.Team Management: Lead, train, and evaluate ED staff, promote a team-oriented approach, and manage performance.Quality Improvement: Oversee performance improvement processes, monitor patient care quality, and resolve complaints.Clinical Practice: Collaborate with leadership to establish nursing standards, ensure equal access to care, and maintain a safe, caring environment.Human Resource Management: Educate, evaluate, and discipline staff as needed, while maintaining respect and professionalism in the workplace.Required Skills and Experience:Minimum of 5 years nursing experience, including management or supervisory experience in the Emergency Department.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle complex situations and manage multiple responsibilities.Must be able to manage and prioritize tasks, ensure timely completion, and resolve issues professionally.Required Education: Master's Degree in Nursing.Required Certifications and Licensure:Current New York State RN LicenseBLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.Preferred Certifications: TNCC certification.Best Regards Tabish Ahmad
