Professional Land Surveyor

Seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to lead and expand our client's full-service surveying operation in Orange County. This role involves overseeing the current Mapping/Surveying department and driving its growth and development. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience and a proactive approach to building and managing a successful team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the full-service surveying operation in the Orange County office.Oversee and expand the current Mapping/Surveying department.Conduct boundary analysis and subdivision mapping.Supervise field crews and ensure high-quality survey results.Prepare and review legal descriptions.Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.Write proposals, create budgets, and monitor job costs.Handle billing and maintain strong client relations.QualificationsMinimum of 10 years surveying experience in Southern California.Proven expertise in boundary analysis and subdivision mapping.Strong supervisory skills with experience managing field crews.Proficiency in preparing legal descriptions.Licensed Land Surveyor in California.Demonstrated project management skills.Experience in proposal writing, budgeting, job cost monitoring, and billing.Excellent client relationship management skills.
