Entry-Level/Junior Transactional Associate - Real Estate & RegulatoryA well-established law firm in New Brunswick, New Jersey, is seeking an Entry-Level/Junior Transactional Associate to join its team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of real estate, redevelopment, and regulatory matters, including legal issues related to New Jersey's economic development programs, public-private partnerships, and real estate matters for not-for-profit institutions. The role will also involve regulatory work before the Department of Banking and Insurance and other state agenciesResponsibilities:Assist in real estate transactions, redevelopment projects, and regulatory matters affecting the real estate industry.Conduct legal research and drafting related to transactional and regulatory issues.Engage with public-private partnerships and assist in legal matters concerning not-for-profit institutions.Work on regulatory compliance issues before state agencies, including the Department of Banking and Insurance.Monitor and analyze New Jersey legislative and regulatory developments impacting the firm's clients.Qualifications:J.D. from an accredited law school; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with attention to detail.Demonstrated interest in real estate, economic development, and regulatory lawAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to New Jersey legal and policy issues, including a willingness to engage with legislative developments.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary, commensurate with experience (anticipated range: $120,000 - $160,000Opportunities for professional growth and mentorship in a collaborative environment.Exposure to high-profile projects and clients within the real estate and regulatory sectors.This position presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop expertise in real estate and regulatory law while working on complex and impactful legal matters.
