This is a unique opportunity to work on creative projects with editorial, creative, and marketing teams to bring fresh and engaging content to life!POSITION DESCRIPTION:As a Web Site Designer, you'll be responsible for conceptualizing and designing visually striking content for a new editorial-focused website. Working closely with editorial leads and creative teams, you'll ensure the design and consistency of homepage and article pages, while leveraging existing assets to create dynamic visual executions. You will also conduct photo research to find the perfect images for the stories.We're looking for a highly motivated individual who is excited to bring their skills to the table, with a keen interest in fashion and a desire to grow their career. Strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work under tight deadlines, are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate with editorial and creative teams to design homepage and article pagesOversee the consistency and design of the websiteConduct photo research using various stock sitesCreate graphic collages and other design solutions using existing imagesStay up to date on the latest trends in fashion and social mediaWork in a team environment and contribute to a positive and collaborative cultureQUALIFICATIONS:Previous experience designing for an editorial websiteStrong WordPress design experienceAbility to create dynamic graphic collages using existing imagesSkilled in photo research and working with stock imagesKnowledge of the latest trends in fashion and social mediaExcellent communication skills and ability to work well in a teamOrganized and able to prioritize tasks effectivelyA positive attitude and eagerness to learnA desire for long-term career growth and developmentEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience1-2 years in a design role (internships are welcome)Fashion editorial experience preferredProficiency in Mac OS and Adobe Suite programsStrong fluency in WordPressREPORTS TO: Art DirectorLOCATION: New York, NY office (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
