This role will be located in Columbus, OH!Job Description: CenTrak has an opportunity for a talented Field Service Technician to fill a full-time position on our Services team in Ohio. The position is multidisciplinary in nature and will work side by side with our clients, vendors, and services delivery teams. If selected to join CenTrak's Managed Services team, you will be joining the ranks of the leading experts on the effective use of real-time technologies and data for the healthcare industry.Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service to our end-users at Ohio.Work independently to complete assigned tasks in an organized and timely manner.Determine projected battery and replacement tag, badge, sensor, and infrastructure needs.Determine daily battery replenishment and troubleshooting targets in conjunction with customer priorities.Perform daily rounding to targeted troubleshooting locations.Perform daily rounding to stationary replenishment locations/devices (infrastructure, EM sensors).Perform replenishment sweeps for mobile devices (badges, tags).Determine weekly activation needs in partnership with the customer.Initiate further assistance (if needed) through a ticket to CenTrak Support.Initiate RMA's (if applicable) via CenTrak RMA portal.Navigate to specific locations from a two-dimensional architectural layout.Provide clear and timely verbal and written feedback on any identified issues.Provide accurate data entry and reporting on work performed.Attend internal and client-facing meetings as required.Document daily responsibilities, accomplished counts, and roadblocks.Prepare weekly report out using CenTrak's "Site Log" template.Other activities as deemed required for the role which may evolve over time.Qualifications:2+ years experience in a professional services environment supporting technical and non-technical users.Commitment to extraordinary customer service.Experience supporting RTLS system strongly preferred.Experience in enterprise healthcare or hospital environments preferred.Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements.Comfortable navigating all areas of the hospital system including patient rooms.Comfortable occasionally working around or with potential biological hazards. Proper personal protective equipment will be worn in accordance with medical center policy and procedures.Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and web-based applications like google documents and email.Required to climb and stand on ladders, sometimes for extended periods of time.Required to work with tools while reaching above your head for extended periods of time.Some area travel required between local sites (reimbursable).
