Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Complete and submit new account registration forms to taxing jurisdictions.Handle escalated tax tracers and communicate with taxing authorities to resolve account issues.Follow up on newly applied state accounts and update third-party vendors with new account details such as SUI rates.Audit tax accounts for activity and work with the Payroll Tax Coordinator to close inactive accounts.Coordinate with Corporate Tax Department when opening new local and state tax accounts.Serve as a point of contact for partners and external parties regarding tax or payroll issues.Assist with updating tax accounts related to mergers, consolidations, and divestitures.Aid in filing tax returns and amendments that cannot be processed by third-party vendors.Perform other duties and projects as assigned.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of directly related and progressively responsible experience.Skills:Proficiency in payroll tax software, preferably ADP Enterprise.Strong verbal and written communication abilities.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with discretion.Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.If you're ready to take the next step in your career with a dynamic team, apply today!PayrollTax #Accounting #TaxSpecialist #JobOpportunity #Payroll
