Electrical Estimator - San Dimas, CA - Skills: Substations, T&D, High-voltage, Utilities, Estimating, 47/1245 IBEW - 140k base salary + full benefits, PTO, Bonus, etc.Imagine yourself estimating for one of the top 5 EPC companies in the industry. Using your expertise in high-voltage equipment, construction methods, and industry standards, you will be helping contribute to this companies success by preparing competitive, well-structured estimates.The role & companyDevelop cost estimates by analyzing project specs, RFPs, and requirements.Conduct site visits to assess conditions, gather data, and collaborate with engineering teams.Prepare material take-offs, labor estimates, and detailed cost breakdowns.Maintain cost databases, adjust for labor agreements/wage increases, and provide bid recommendations.Source competitive material quotes and evaluate subcontractor bids.Compile and submit bid packages with full documentation.Assess project risks, plan contingencies, and ensure cost accuracy.Adjust estimates for local labor agreements and yearly wage increases (familiarity with Local 47/1245 preferred)Requirements (desirable, not essential)Minimum of 4 years of experience in estimating high voltage transmission and distribution systems.Proficiency in estimating software and tools such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, MS Excel, B2W, and Loadspring.Experience with major utilities in California and familiarity with Local 47/1245, as well as other locals outside of California.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or field experience as a Journeyman Lineman in the powerline industry.APPLY NOW!Limited positions available, don't miss this opportunity!
