Civil Engineer

Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering• Minimum of 3 years of directly-relevant experience in civil/site development• Ability to apply critical thinking to develop options and recommendations to solve technical problems• Ability to develop working drawings for civil site plans (layout, piping, grading, drainage, and paving).• Experience with the planning and design of facility layout and site design projects• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team• Working knowledge of AutoCAD ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities• Perform civil engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure, focused on site design project components including site layout, infrastructure piping, roadways, paving and grading, and stormwater infrastructure• Reviews of contractor submittals for conformance with contract plans and specifications, and evaluate requests for information as part of engineering services during construction• Experience with SoFL permitting is preferred but not required
