The Legal and Compliance Coordinator supports the Legal and Compliance Manager in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance across the company. This role is essential in assisting with managing contract documentation, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. The Legal and Compliance Coordinator will assist with contract management, and administrative tasks related to compliance and business operations.Responsibilities:Assist in reviewing and managing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.Handle all incoming and outgoing Certificate of Insurance requests, tracking all COI expirations.Support compliance efforts by maintaining company policies and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.Maintain Airo's Contract Matrix and other contract management software by entering all new contract information during execution phase.Maintain and organize legal files, records, and correspondence.Assist in preparing reports, summaries, and presentations related to legal and compliance matters.Manage all aspects of the subcontractor agreement contract lifecycle including any contract specific insurance requirements.Monthly tracking and reporting of bonds and remaining balances on bonded projects.Manage intake of insurance claims and respond to all requests for documents to fulfill reporting requirements.Support the company's collections processes, including lien notice filing, tracking, and correspondence management.Ensure compliance with state licensing and subcontractor prequalification.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Business, or a related field required.Paralegal certification from an accredited institution a plus.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business-related field or construction industry, preferably with legal and compliance exposure.Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, and compliance regulations.Proficiency in project management.Experience with Procore or similar project or contract management software is a plus.Experience with certificates of insurance and review of insurance requirements a plus.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
