Healthcare Transactional Partner - M&A (New Jersey)Our client, a prestigious law firm recognized for its collaborative and innovative approach, is seeking a Healthcare Transactional Partner (10+ years) with a specialization in healthcare mergers & acquisitions (M&A). This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced attorney to lead complex healthcare transactions, provide strategic regulatory guidance, and play a key role in the firm's growing healthcare practice.Key Responsibilities:Lead healthcare M&A transactions, including joint ventures, partnerships, employment arrangements, management agreements, and lease agreementsDraft, negotiate, and review a wide range of corporate and transactional documents, including:Operating agreementsManagement agreementsEmployment and independent contractor agreementsPurchase agreementsLeasesBilling services agreementsProvide strategic counsel on healthcare regulatory issues, including:Stark Law and Anti-Kickback StatuteERKA, corporate practice of the profession, and fee-splitting lawsFraud and abuse concerns in healthcare transactionsCollaborate with clients and internal teams to navigate legal complexities and deliver pragmatic, business-focused solutionsQualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive Bar admission in New Jersey (NY admission is a plus)Minimum of 10+ years of experience in healthcare transactional law with a proven track record in M&A, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiationExtensive knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, ERKA, corporate practice restrictions, and fee-splitting lawsProficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting and document management softwareExperience with electronic documentation and e-discovery mattersStrong commercial/business acumen with a demonstrated ability to offer creative, business-focused legal solutionsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills, with outstanding academic credentialsAbility to handle high-pressure, complex legal matters while meeting deadlines with precisionThe Perks:Competitive salary & comprehensive benefits packageOngoing professional development and growth opportunitiesSupportive, people-centered work culture that values individual contributionsOpportunities to participate in philanthropic initiatives and community engagementHigh-impact leadership role within a nationally respected law firm
