Field Engineer

Field Department We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Field Department in our New York office, ideally within commuting distance of Long Island. This role requires a strong understanding of design, project coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration with engineering trades. The ideal candidate will ensure project designs align with client and industry standards while contributing positively to the team environment.Key Responsibilities:Interpret construction documents and develop testing procedures for equipment and systems.Conduct site inspections, review equipment performance data, and ensure compliance with industry certifications (LEED, WELL, ASHRAE).Utilize testing equipment (infrared cameras, temperature sensors, flow meters) to gather technical data.Develop technical reports and recommend corrective actions or energy efficiency improvements.Coordinate with internal design teams and external engineering firms to resolve project challenges.Manage project documentation, including site observation reports, inspection reports, and laser scanning models.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.Minimum 2+ years of engineering experience, with a strong understanding of MEP design software (Revit, AutoCAD).Knowledge of energy and building codes as they relate to field operations.Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to manage project deliverables across various phases.Affiliation with professional organizations (BCA, AEE, ASHRAE, USGBC) is a plus.Work Conditions & Benefits:Field and office-based work, including site visits in varying weather conditions.Hybrid work model with opportunities for professional growth and development.If you are a detail-oriented engineer looking to advance your career in a collaborative environment, apply today!
