We are looking for passionate individuals committed to making an impact on the future of medicine.Position Summary:The Sr. Scientist, Bioanalytics will perform bioanalytical measurements for preclinical PK and in vivo studies and will characterize the in vitro and in vivo stability and function of antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates (ADC) using analytical methods. The position is lab-facing and on-site. Title and compensation package will be based on prior experience.Responsibilities:Design, validate and execute bioanalytical assays to measure properties of ADCs in blood and in tissue samples.Develop and implement highly quantitative ELISA and other ligand binding assays, including assays for ADA assessment. Collect and analyze data from PK, in vivo efficacy, and in vivo tolerability studies, including NHP studies, and provide detailed reports and interpretation.Assist with ELISA and Western blot analysis of PD markers and intracellular catabolite measurements as needed.Assist with measurement of in vitro and in vivo stability of ADCs, quantification and identification of released catabolite in vivo using MS-based or ELISA assays.Participate in project teams and advise on PK/PD studies.Requirements and Experience:Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. degree in a relevant scientific discipline with 5+ years of work experience.Strong hands-on experience with ELISA-based measurements of ADCs in blood and tissue samples.Excellent knowledge of analytical methods and instrumentation (MSD, GyroLab, JESS, MS etc.).Strong expertise in developing, validating, and executing quantitative assays.Experience with PK/PD modeling of bioconjugates and biotherapeutics.Highly organized, diligent, and quality focused with good computer and documentation skills.Creativity and problem-solving skills paired with ability to excel in a highly collaborative environment.Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.Additional Skills:Experience with MS-based methods to detect ADC catabolites in blood and tissue is highly desired.BenefitsEvery team member is essential in shaping Firefly Bio's culture and science and for our success.
