Design Assistant

As a Design Assistant at Pointe Cabinets and Design, you will support the design team in creating innovative and functional spaces. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate on various design projects and gain hands-on experience in the interior design industry. We focus on luxury kitchen and bath remodels, full home remodels, and new construction homes.ResponsibilitiesAssist in space planning, material selection, and sourcing for residential design projectsCreate detailed drawings and renderings using software such as 2020 Design, AutoCad, and Chief ArchitectSupport designers in client presentations and project coordinationMaintain project documentation and assist in contract preparationCoordinate with vendors for product sourcing and procurementAssist with showroom organization and product displaysQualificationsKnowledge of interior design principles, color theory, and lighting salesProficiency in design software including 2020 Design, AutoCad, and/or Chief ArchitectExperience or coursework in remodeling projects is a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentExcellent communication skills to interact with clients and vendorsBenefits401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurance
