Talento has partnered with an organization with projects spanning across the globe. Reporting into the General Counsel, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Manager to join their legal team. This position will assist with the coordination, control, and management of a wide variety of contracts. This role requires a strong understanding of legal terminology and compliance measures to ensure that all obligations and terms within such documents are being adhered to and properly managed. While the role is primarily focused on establishing a system, policies, and procedures to underpin the document control of legal contracts and documentation, there is also the opportunity to widen the scope of the role to encompass the management control of technical documents. This role would also be responsible for the systematic management of documents ensuring easy access, security, and organization of company-wide files. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to managing digital documents.ResponsibilitiesSource and implement a document management system and software that can be easily adopted and readily usedDevelop and implement document management policies and procedures to ensure effective organization, storage, and retrieval of documentsTake control of contracts from inception to completion, understanding the obligations within and ensure that these are fulfilled and timelines are adhered to Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirementsCollaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, finance, operations) to address contract related issues and ensure alignmentMonitor contract performance and compliance, identifying and mitigating risks as necessaryPrepare reports on contract status, performance metrics, and compliance for management reviewClassify, index, and categorize documents for easy access and compliance with regulatory requirementsRegularly audit document storage systems to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulationsTrain and support teams on document storage protocols, emphasizing ongoing collaboration and proactive managementProvide support and expertise to subsidiary companies in helping establish a standardized approach to document and contract management Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in contract managementRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field8 plus years of proven experience and expertise in contract management, compliance regulations contract management software and Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with sourcing, implementing, and managing a document management system (DMS), and establishing and tracking metrics and KPIsExcellent organizational skills with a proactive approach to managing digital filesDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesCertification in Contract Management (e.g., CPCM, CCM) is a plusKnowledge of data protection regulations and best practices for securing sensitive informationExperience of working in the engineering, construction and real estate sectors is desirable About Talento Human Capital (TalentoHC):TalentoHC is a leading talent acquisition, executive search, and human capital consulting partner, dedicated to helping our clients build their best teams yet.
