Cope Private Wealth () is seeking a Client Service Associate for our financial planning firm in Birmingham, AL. We believe that financial planning is a collaborative process and have found rapport is the single biggest determinant of a successful financial planning relationship. We only take clients that we can work well with - we don't have an asset minimum for new clients, but we do have a personality minimum. Our firm is a continuing supporter of COOSA Riverkeeper, Preschool Partners, and O'Neal Cancer Center non-profit organizations.The Client Service Associate will report directly to our Founder and Lead Advisor Pat Cope and assist with a variety of client service and administrative tasks. We are seeking a CSA that can help us serve our clients in their individual goals in the best way possible. This is a full time position, with flexible hours.Salary and BenefitsSalary will be $55,000 - $70,000 based on experienceHealthcare through BCBS401(k) with employer matching with 3% safe harborFlexible hoursVariety - no two days will be the same and you will be involved in many areas of the businessDuties and Responsibilities include:Prepare client meeting agendas, notes, and documents needed for client meetingsAssist in the maintenance of the firm's CRM - RedtailProcess meeting notes, update contact management database, and assign and execute follow-up tasksProcess funds requests, account applications, account transfers and any other client/account related needs through SchwabHandle client issues and requestsAnswer the phone and greet clients as they come into the officeProvide administrative support to the firms AdvisorsCoordinate client meeting scheduling, including in-person and video meetingsClient billingAssist where needed - we are a small team, and we all wear multiple hatsPosition Requirements:2 years of experience in financial servicesWindows and Microsoft Office skills and ability to master new softwareStrong organizational skillsExcellent administrative writing and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as within a team and prioritize tasks appropriatelyAbility to manage your own timeHigh attention to detailExcellent client service and relationship management skillsNot required but a big plus: experience with any our systems - Redtail, Orion, Schwab, PreciseFP, eMoney, HolistiplanThe ProcessQualified candidates will start the process by having a 15-30 minute zoom interview conducted by our consultant who is the hiring manager for this position. If there is ground to move forward, you will be required to fill out a Career History Form. If you are selected to advance in the process, you will meet with the firm.
