We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lead/Quality Control Specialist to join our clients team at a packaging warehouse/distribution center in Wilmington, MA. This role reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and plays a key role in ensuring product quality and compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, quality control, and leadership.Location: Wilmington, MASchedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM start time (8-10 hour shifts)Compensation: $58,240 - $62,000per hour (depending on experience)Responsibilities:Oversee and conduct quality control inspections on incoming and outgoing products.Ensure compliance with company standards and customer specificationsIdentify and report defective products, inconsistencies, and process inefficiencies.Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to implement and improve quality control proceduresAssist in training and guiding warehouse staff on quality standards.Maintain detailed records and reports of quality checks and issues.Collaborate with warehouse teams to improve inventory accuracy and order fulfillmentEnsure all safety and regulatory requirements are met in the warehouse.Requirements:1-3 years of experience in warehouse quality control, shipping/receiving, or a related field.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects and inconsistencies.Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution centerAbility to lead by example and communicate effectively with team members.Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Benefits:Competitive pay based on experience ($19 - $24 per hour).Full-time, consistent schedule with opportunities for overtimePotential for growth and advancement within the company.A collaborative and team-oriented work environmentDesired Skills and ExperienceOversee daily order fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timely shipping.Maintain quality control and adherence to company standards.Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow.Lead and support warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
