Litigation Paralegal

LHH Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in Workers' Compensation for our client based in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case management, legal research, and document preparation.Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Conduct thorough investigations and gather relevant evidence to support workers' compensation claims.Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and trials.Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and provide updates on case progress.Prepare and summarize medical records, employment records, and other relevant documents.Assist in the preparation of trial exhibits and presentations.Monitor and manage deadlines to ensure timely completion of all tasks.Perform other duties as assigned by attorneys and management.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.Paralegal certification from an accredited institution.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on workers' compensation cases.Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in legal research and document management software.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time management skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
