POSITION OVERVIEW:Our client is a growing e-Commerce channel management agency with an Amazon "super focus". They are looking to hire a seasoned, detail-oriented, and proactive Demand Planning & Inventory Manager to oversee all aspects of their clients' Amazon FBA (and other channel) inventory. In this role, you'll combine analytical expertise with hands-on leadership to ensure data integrity, accurately forecast demand, and smoothly coordinate with internal and external teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in e-commerce supply chain management, excels in high-level problem-solving, and can manage a fast-paced environment with precision and maturity.ABOUT THE COMPANY: Our client is a rapidly expanding eCommerce agency specializing in the Amazon marketplace, managing almost $600M in Amazon sales to-date. They even had a mechanical bull at one!They have company social channels for music, pets, and more!KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Demand ForecastingAnalyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality to create accurate demand forecasts.Inventory ManagementMonitor stock levels, replenishment schedules, and lead times to ensure optimal inventory availability.Supply Chain CoordinationWork closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and 3PL partners to manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.Amazon FBA ManagementOptimize FBA restock limits, inbound shipments, and storage fees to maintain healthy inventory turnover.Data Analysis & ReportingGenerate reports on inventory performance, sell-through rates, and forecast accuracy to improve decision-making.Risk MitigationIdentify potential stockout or overstock risks and implement corrective actions.Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with account managers, marketing, and operations teams to align inventory strategies with business goals.QUALIFICATIONS:Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, or a related field.Minimum 3-5 years of eCommerce management, with significant experience in demand planning or inventory managementExperience managing an Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central account is preferredTechnical & Analytical SkillsProven Track Record in Forecasting: Demonstrated ability to create and refine complex forecasting models using tools like Excel or Google Sheets.Meticulous Data Management: History of conducting data integrity checks, reconciling discrepancies, and accurately accounting for variables like lead times.Strong E-commerce Acumen: Familiarity with Amazon's Send to Amazon workflow, cross-border shipping, and fee structures; experience launching and growing accounts in international marketplaces preferred.Soft Skills & LeadershipMature Professionalism: Confident communicator who can handle high-pressure situations, pivot quickly when plans change, and maintain a solutions-oriented mindset.Effective Delegation: Skilled in managing and motivating diverse teams, holding them accountable for performance and continuous improvement.Attention to Detail: Ability to juggle multiple deadlines while retaining laser focus on data accuracy, compliance, and end-to-end process efficiency.If you thrive on analyzing data, perfecting processes, and leading teams toward excellence, join this team as their Demand Planning & Inventory Manager.
