Logistics Manager

Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Logistics Manager to join our client's team, who will serve as a key point of contact between their company, third-party 3PL's, various logistics providers, and carriers. The successful candidate will demonstrate superior organizational and interpersonal skills, tenacity, and resilience to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, effective inventory management, and compliance with customer specifications.Key Responsibilities: 3PL warehouse coordination - overseeing customer order shipments while building reliable working relationships with 3PL warehouse affiliates. Must be on-site 3 days per week (2 days from home) or as needed to meet company's operational goals Production Collaboration - coordinate with NY production team and 3PL to ensure customer guidelines for packaging and routing is met Inbound Container Management - manage and track inbound containers through the 3PL portal while coordinating unloading within a 48-hour window and provide receiving reports to HQAllocation and Order Processing - must review/manage allocation reports while processing pick tickets daily. Must provide superior customer service and communication to avoid missed deadlinesPurchasing and Labeling - responsible for identifying SKU's needing labeling and ticketing at the 3PL site. Place orders in advance through relevant departmentsShipping Management - work with 3PL and carriers to ensure pre-routing and regular routing is in compliance with customer requirements and timelines Inventory Management - oversee inventory accuracy, managing cycle counts and annual audits as they arise.
