Greylock is currently exploring a GenAI concept in cybersecurity. The founders have been deep in this space for years, most recently coming off of being early employees at one of the fastest growing cybersecurity companies today.As the first marketing hire, you'll play a pivotal role in defining not just the product story, but the company's positioning in the market for years to come. You will be the Architect of their go-to-market strategy shaping core narratives, driving product launches, and building foundational marketing processes from the ground up. Because this is the first marketing hire, we are looking for someone who can seamlessly blend strategic vision with hands-on execution. You'll own key processes, drive impactful campaigns, lead events, and create a repeatable framework for growth.The ideal candidate thrives in an early-stage environment, understands the nuances of security products, and can translate complex technical capabilities into compelling customer value propositions.Please note this is an early stage startup, located in downtown San Francisco. Please only apply if you're able to be in person 3 days a week, in San Francisco. This is a very young company, sub 15 people total.Qualifications5+ years of experience in product marketing.Proven success collaborating with sales teams in a B2B environment.Strong preference for candidates with cybersecurity industry experience.Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.Self-starter mentality with a proactive approach to taking ownership and driving results.Experience in startup environments required.ResponsibilitiesDevelop a wide range of internal and customer-facing materials, including enablement content, thought leadership assets, website messaging, pitch decks, white papers, case studies, competitive positioning documents, seller enablement resources, and product demos.Lead the planning, development, and execution of product launches.Craft compelling messaging and positioning to highlight our unique value propositions, key capabilities, and benefits for target audiences such as CISOs, SOCs, and Security Awareness Teams.Stay informed about market trends, competitive dynamics, and target audiences, leveraging these insights to influence the product roadmap and strengthen Fable's market position.Manage our Customer Advisory Board- plan and manage CAB events and touchpoints.About Greylock:Greylock is an early-stage investor in hundreds of remarkable companies including Airbnb, LinkedIn, Dropbox, Workday, Cloudera, Facebook, Instagram, Roblox, Coinbase, Palo Alto Networks, among others.
