With over nine locations across North Carolina and a focus on growth, they are seeking a Commercial Lines Department Manager to lead their team.Job Title: Commercial Lines Department ManagerLocation: Raleigh, NCOfficeOn-Site with flexibilityPosition Overview:The Commercial Lines Department Manager will oversee a team of approximately 20 Account Managers and play a pivotal role in enhancing team operations and building a strong middle management structure. Based in Raleigh, this leader will ensure the department operates efficiently and strategically aligns with organizational goals. They will be responsible for driving team performance, fostering collaboration, and delivering exceptional client service.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of ~20 Commercial Lines Account Managers, providing mentorship, support, and guidance to ensure high performance and professional development.Develop and implement a middle management structure to streamline workflows, enhance accountability, and position the department for growth.Collaborate with executive leadership to align department operations with broader organizational objectives.Monitor and evaluate team performance, implementing training and process improvements where needed to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction.Act as an escalation point for complex client matters, offering expert-level support and resolution strategies.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and service excellence within the department.Drive talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning efforts for the Commercial Lines department.Qualifications:10+ years of insurance experience, with a strong background in Commercial Lines and proven management experience.Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.Experience in designing and implementing organizational structures to improve workflow and operational efficiency.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse team.Strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.Applied EPIC experience.Compensation and Comprehensive Benefits:The salary range for this role is based on experience, qualifications, and individual circumstances.For highly qualified candidates with extensive management expertise, compensation at the higher end of the range will be considered.Why Join Our Client?This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a high-impact department in a central location within the organization.How to Apply:If you are an experienced leader with a passion for empowering teams and delivering exceptional client service, we encourage you to apply.
