Job Title: Software Dev Engineer II Estimated Start Date 3/3/2025Location: (New York,NY,US)Duration: 12 monthsRemote Possibility NO - Onsite 2 days per weekJob Description: The Delivery experience team is looking for a Software Development Engineer. who will act as first level support and development for all incoming production software application issues dealing with seller prime eligibility. Your solutions will impact our customers directly! Primary responsibilities include developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging and implementing the fix for internally developed code (Scala, JAVA), performing SQL queries, improving our systems that gather metrics on our features, updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges. Job Qualifications: The ideal candidate is interested in a career in software development and is looking to utilize and expand their coding skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of software applications. They must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, are able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure. Preferred coding skills: Perl, C/C++ and/or Java. Other desired technical skills include Mason, Perl CGI, Oracle SQL, HTML, UNIX/LINUX. A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and more than 5 years of relevant experience is required.9+ SDE II experienceDegree's/Certs:A Computer Science or equivalent technical degreeCoding Language (Mandatory): JAVA, SCALA Resume stand out: EXPERIENCE WITH SPARK Technologies WOULD BE HELPFULTop 3: • 5 years of Java coding experience • SQL 2+ years • Cloud technology would be beneficial (even if not AWS) Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $50.00 - $53.00 per hour. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select.
