Supply Chain Analyst 4Plano, TX (5 days/week, Plano TX office)6 months ContractSupply Chain Analyst 4The main function of a supply chain analyst is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. A typical supply chain analyst is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.The Supply Chain Management team is responsible for ensuring product availability to meet forecasted demand by the Sales Subsidiary. Forecasts are generated via consensus calls with Sales Teams, Marketing Teams, and with the Client and tracked using spreadsheets, SAP, and Client Systems and Tools. The Supply Chain analyst is responsible for managing a specific range of products and will work closely with the other analysts at SEA, while supporting strategic projects on behalf of the entire Supply Chain Team. The candidate will be responsible for generating reports for Executive Management, and representing the SCM Team when working with internal/external customers.The Supply Chain Analyst will be the primary point of contact for all supply related issues for the associated product category at the Sales Subsidiary and will interact closely with all teams including Senior Management.Job ResponsibilitiesExamine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications.Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.Major activitiesAP2 Forecasting by ProductConsensus Calls with Sales, Marketing, GOCPSI Planning & SimulationsOrder ManagementInventory ManagementProduct AllocationAging InventoryRevenue Simulation/TrackingReport GenerationKPI ManagementSkillsVerbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials.Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.High level excel skill and PPT proficiencyAnalytical and able to analyze large data quickly/efficientlySAP experience is preferredAble to analyze and utilize data in Modeling, Forecastingquick to learn (a candidate that is able to analyze and utilize data in smart and effective ways)Education/ExperienceBachelors in Supply Chain or Data Science; Masters Preferred2 to 5 years related experienceEducation Requirement:Bachelor's DegreeYears of experience:2-5 years of directly related experience is required5 days/week, Plano TX officeBeeline Summary:The main function of a supply chain analyst is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule.
