Plant Manager

Job Overview: The Plant Manager will lead continuous improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost through the implementation of lean methodologies. This role offers possible career advancement into the Vice President (VP) of Operations, overseeing multiple plants and driving broader operational strategy.Key Responsibilities:Culture & Leadership: Foster a culture focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost, driving continuous improvement and lean transformation at all levels.Lean Implementation: Lead lean initiatives to optimize processes, reduce scrap, and improve labor efficiency, while aligning operations with SIOP and accurately forecasting production needs.Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performance team, ensuring strong communication, high morale, and alignment with business goals.Operational Efficiency: Drive cost reductions and profitability improvements through resource allocation, process optimization, and KPI development.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance to resolve customer concerns and align plant operations with company priorities.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).Experience: 10+ years in manufacturing leadership, with a track record in lean transformation and driving operational performance in high-volume production environments.Skills: Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills; ability to lead change and influence across all levels of the organization; highly results-driven with a focus on metrics and continuous improvement. Experience manufacturing high-volume/high-mix discreet products which involve metal machining is a plus
