Quality Assurance Supervisor Stanwood, WA - On SiteIntroduction Our client, an organization that specialized in the production and distribution of healthy and delicious plant- based meat alternative products, is looking to grow their QA team.The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, company quality standards, and customer requirements. This role will oversee the QA team, manage quality control processes, and work closely with production to maintain the highest level of food safety and product integrity.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead the Quality Assurance team, providing training, guidance, and performance management.Oversee quality control procedures to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, FSMA, HACCP, GMPs, and other food safety standards.Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs, policies, and SOPs.Conduct internal audits, inspections, and root cause analyses for deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints.Work closely with production, sanitation, and R&D teams to identify and resolve quality issues proactively.Ensure all documentation, including batch records, testing logs, and regulatory paperwork, is accurate and up to date.Coordinate third-party audits and regulatory inspections, addressing any findings in a timely manner.Monitor raw material and finished product quality, implementing corrective actions when necessary.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance food safety and quality processes.Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in food manufacturing.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, or a related field preferred.3-5 years of quality assurance experience in a food manufacturing environment.2+ years of direct management experience leading QA professionals.Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, GMPs, and food safety standards.Experience with third-party audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.Proficiency in developing and implementing quality assurance programs and food safety plans.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across departments.Experience with data analysis, reporting, and quality metrics.Certification in HACCP, SQF, or PCQI is a plus.What We OfferWhy apply through Brunel?
