About Us:Alphacare Home Health Agency is a leading provider of home health services, committed to delivering high-quality patient-centered care. We are seeking a Director of Operations to oversee the daily operations of our agency, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead our Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program to drive excellence in patient care and operational efficiency.Job Summary:The Director of Operations is responsible for the overall management of the home health agency, ensuring compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation, state regulations, and accreditation standards. This role oversees clinical and administrative functions, fosters a culture of continuous improvement, and leads the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program to enhance patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:Oversee day-to-day agency operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance.Ensure adherence to federal, state, and accreditation requirements (CHAP)Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient care and operational performance.Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize workflows and resource utilization.Manage agency budgets, staffing, and operational policies.Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI):Lead the QAPI program, analyzing performance data and implementing quality improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation, tracking outcomes and corrective action plans.Conduct monthly quality meetings, reviewing clinical performance, patient satisfaction, and compliance metrics.Oversee clinical documentation audits, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with physician orders.Implement evidence-based best practices to improve patient safety and reduce hospital readmissions.Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure compliance with home health regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and state licensing requirements.Serve as the agency liaison for CMS, state surveyors, and accreditation bodies.Investigate and resolve compliance issues, including incident reporting and corrective action plans.Maintain up-to-date policies and procedures to align with regulatory changes and industry best practices.Leadership & Staff Development:Supervise and mentor clinical managers, nursing supervisors, and administrative staffProvide ongoing training to ensure staff competency in documentation, patient care, and regulatory compliance.Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learningAddress staff performance issues and implement strategies for improvement.Qualifications:Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN), Healthcare Administration, or related field.
