This position is responsible for preventative maintenance and the general upkeep of production equipment. The Maintenance Technician will also assist with facility projects such as painting and repairs. They will work in a safe manner while adhering to all facility rules and regulations.Key Responsibilities1) Performs routine preventative maintenance on production equipment including cleaning and the replacing of ware parts on a scheduled basis to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.2) Assist with facility improvement projects, including painting, upgrades and general maintenance of the building, including structural repairs and improvement.3) Work collaboratively with other departments to coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks.4) Troubleshoot and repair, reassemble and test various types of equipment.5) Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and facility regulations while working.Qualifications· High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification or vocational training is a plus.· Proven experience in maintenance, repair or related field.· Experience working with hand and power tools, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and proper tool usage.· Basic carpentry, plumbing and painting skills.· Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills.· Ability to work independently and as part of the team in a fast-paced environment.· Experience with safety protocols and regulations in facilities/manufacturing environment.· Routinely perform manual labor and lift heavy items 30+ pounds.· Physical ability to perform all essential duties requiring bending, walking, standing, carrying, reaching, moving items, climbing stairs or ladders, kneeling, and lifting· Bilingual (Spanish and English) a plusBenefits:LSL Healthcare offers a competitive salary, performance-based incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, AD&D, accident, critical illness, employee assistance program, disability, paid time off and professional development opportunities.The pay range for this position is $33,280 - $39,520.
