Insurance Defense and Coverage Attorney

Summary:We are seeking an insurance defense and coverage attorney licensed in Arizona to join the Firm's active practice in Phoenix. Our Firm mentors new and young associates and recognizes independence and self-motivation. The Firm offers a competitive salary (dependent upon experience) and bonus structure, insurance benefits, and 401(k)/profit sharing participation.This position is eligible for hybrid work to be arranged with supervisor.Job Responsibilities:The ideal insurance coverage candidate would possess some experience in reviewing and analyzing insurance coverage issues pertaining to personal lines, commercial general liability, and specialty lines policies, along with experience in coverage/bad faith litigation, and would have some exposure to insurance coverage issues.The ideal insurance defense candidates would possess some experience in handling third-party tort matters, including auto, trucking, dram shop, product and premises liability cases, construction defect matters, and the defense of state and municipal entities.Required Experience, Skills & Education:Top 20% of law school classLaw review and/or moot court experienceAt least one year of civil litigation experience in public or private practiceCurrently licensed and in good standing with the Arizona State BarStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and writingDetail orientedSome deposition or courtroom experienceProficient in Westlaw, Word, Outlook and Excel
