Ultimate Staffing is seeking an ICT Flying Probe technician for our client in Milpitas. This is a 100% onsite, temp to perm role, Monday-Friday 6am-3pm with a starting pay of $23-$25 an hour based on experience.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:· Troubleshoot, repair, and testing of electronic assemblies· Troubleshooting of Flying Probe / ICT and potentially functional test failures to component level.· Perform detailed analysis and reporting of all test failures.· Enter the failure/repair finding into information data collections systems.· Read and interpret schematics, drawings and Engineering Change Orders.· Provide continuous feedback to test engineers for test yield improvement.· Actively works to minimize the debug accumulation.· Perform maintenance and repair on test fixtures, where appropriate.· May operate automated test equipment (ATE). May use ATE for the purpose of failure isolationQualifications Required/Job Specifications:· Two-year technical degree and two years of hands-on experience, or four years of hands-on technical experience.· Background in Electrical Engineering. Must be able to read schematics, diagrams, test data and software output as well as BOMs and assembly drawings to perform quick repairs. · Experience operating a flying probe machine preferred. Must have experience testing and troubleshooting printed circuit boards.· Experience with Takaya Flying Probe machines is a definite plus.· Must have excellent communication and documentation skills. Should have knowledge of Microsoft Office· Previous experience working in contract manufacturing (EMS) environment preferred· Strong, effective organizational skills required; detail oriented; ability to multitask· Possess excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form· Ability to keep accurate documentation· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees;· Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry· Ability to use common sense to solve practical problems· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form· Maintain courteous, professional and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization· Possess a high level of integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information· Available to work the days and hours necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks.
