Electrician

The purpose of this position is to execute the maintenance inspections, repairs, and calibration of the electrical and some mechanical equipment.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Inspect and test electrical power systems and equipment.Make electrical and mechanical repairs.Organize and maintain an inventory of electrical parts.Learn to repair and maintain various electrical systems.Assist with equipment installations and testing to completion.Support our engineering staff by providing phone support in a 24/7 environment.Position Requirements:An apprenticeship as an electrician or a Technical Degree in electrical maintenance, technologies, or science.Minimum of 10 years of industry related experience as a commercial, industrial electrician.Demonstrated knowledge of electrical theory and its application to repairing complex electrical systems.Strong work ethic and willingness to work to completion with 100% success.Travel may be required.Basic understanding of electronics and willingness to learn television broadcasting equipment.Strong verbal and writing communication skills.Proficient computer skills.This position will require lifting of moderate to heavy equipment, 50lbs-100lbs.
