Client is built around our four core values: Driven, Loyal, Positive, and Honest.Employment Benefits Offered:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Vacations/HolidaysPaid TrainingWellness Program401kProfit SharingSupplemental Plans (e.g., Accident, Disability)Access to New TechnologyAnd many more!Job Description:As a Journeyman Service Plumber, you will be responsible for the following:Read blueprints and other technical documents to assess repair needs.Collaborate with owners and contractors to evaluate client needs and plan plumbing layouts.Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures.Affix clamps, screws, and perform brazing, soldering, and welding on pipes and tubes.Measure and modify pipes by cutting, threading, or bending using specialized tools.Install and/or repair appliances such as dishwashers, water heaters, toilets, and sinks.Diagnose plumbing problems and work to resolve any issues.Repair or replace damaged parts and locate and repair water line leaks and remove clogs.Train new apprentices in proper plumbing techniques and practices.Confirm that pipe systems are air/water-tight by performing pressure tests.Keep detailed notes and create work reports documenting projects.Test plumbing and other installed fixtures to ensure proper functioning.Follow state laws and regulations and adhere to local building codes.The Work:Work will be located in the Vancouver/Portland area.Perform a wide range of work, including plumbing for apartments, hotels, schools, and large industrial buildings.Qualifications:Stable job history with proven experience in the plumbing industry.Valid commercial Journeyman card for Washington and/or Oregon.Experience in commercial plumbing is preferred.Ability to share our core values of being Driven, Loyal, Positive, and Honest.If licensed in both Washington and Oregon, a higher wage will be offered.
