QAD Support AnalystThe QAD Support Analyst will support the ERP business applications and global integrations for AMVAC, an American Vanguard Company. In this role, the Support Analyst for QAD will focus on supporting the Digital transformation to standardize QAD Adaptive Enterprise ERP as well as implement business process improvement to automate manual processes and systems.American Vanguard was founded in 1969 and is a $600M diversified agricultural and specialty products company focusing on crop protection, turf and ornamental markets, and public health applications. The Company markets its product lines in the USA and internationally in 24 countries, including Brazil, Latin America, Mexico, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and several other countries in Asia. American Vanguard has four primary multi-product chemical manufacturing facilities in the USA. In addition, the Company operates three biological manufacturing plants (in the USA, Mexico and India). Our manufacturing facilities operate batch processing systems and synthesize chemicals and formulate those products into finished goods. The Company's ERP platform is QAD. At the present time, the Company is implementing a new digital version of QAD across all of our businesses including several entities that have been acquired in the last few years. The QAD Business Systems analyst will design, develop and implement enterprise Business Intelligence and reporting platforms. This position is integral to the function and management of production and reporting across multiple manufacturing sites worldwide and is a valued team member of AMVAC's digital transformation initiatives. This is a hybrid position (near Irvine, CA). RESPONSIBILITIESProvide functional and technical support for QAD ERP business applications and integrationsDevelop Power BI reports for Business Intelligence including design and developmentImplement and develop ongoing enhancements of enterprise Business Intelligence and reporting platforms Design and manage ERP business application reports, browsers, and inquiriesAnalyze business processes and recommend ERP solutions Perform requirements gathering; gap analysis, and process mapping and communicate with cross-functional teamsKEY QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field3+ years of experience with QAD Enterprise Applications, including System Administration, EDI, QExtend, Progress 4GLExperience in manufacturing, supply chain, or finance industries is a plusTechnical SkillsStrong functional knowledge of QAD ERP modules (e.g., Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain, Distribution).Progress 4GL or SQL programming experience (for customizing QAD).Understanding of QAD EE (Enterprise Edition) and QAD SE (Standard Edition)Experience with QAD's QXtend, EDI, or .NET UIKnowledge of integration tools (Boomi, QXtend, API integration)Experience with ERP migrations, upgrades, and implementationsExperience with Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Microsoft 365 applicationsLinux; SQL programming Business & Analytical Skills Ability to analyze business processes and recommend ERP solutions.Experience with requirement gathering, gap analysis, and process mappingStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma principles a plusSoft Skills & CapabilitiesEffective verbal and written communication skillsExcellent Collaboration skills (to work with stakeholders across departments)Project management experience (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies)Ability to train end-users and create documentationSome travel may be requiredAble to pass a background check (post-offer)AMVAC's BENEFITS AMVAC, an American Vanguard Company, offers premium benefits at low cost to employees and their families.
