Senior Legal Counsel

Our client, a large property manager, seeks an attorney with a minimum of seven years of sophisticated retail/commercial leasing experience gained at large law firm and/or in-house to join their law department. This lawyer will be responsible for a variety of legal matters related to their portfolio. The primary responsibilities will be for retail leasing and lease related documents. Other responsibilities will include support for property management and operational issues. The lawyer will work closely with business clients to negotiate and draft leases, operating and use agreements, and other real estate documentation such as listing agreements, easement agreements, condominium association documents, access agreements, and license agreements. Additional responsibilities from time to time may include: real estate development; purchase and sale work; and general contractual matters. The company seeks an individual with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills who will be a responsive partner to the business clients in promoting the company's leasing and general business efforts.
