Electrical Design Engineer, Analog/Digital Sensors, SME Ownership, Onsite Dallas, TXJoin a growing mid-size client firm that leads in its industry! We seek an Electrical Engineer to design advanced control systems for large automated aerospace assemblies. You will work on exciting projects like microprocessor-based servo motion control, heating applications, and analog and digital sensors. If you want to make a real impact in the aerospace sector, we want to hear from you!Why should you apply here?Stable, growing 25+-year-old mid-sized firmLarge domestic and global clientsFactory automation, Robotics, Device Control SystemsStaff of 25 Engineers in the business unit, 16 Software EngineersEmployee high retention rateNo-cost medical insurance for employee and family coverageWhat will you be doing?Design electrical control systems and utilities for aerospace automation, scaffolding, and toolsCreate and update 2D electrical panel layouts to meet internal and customer needsSelect and size system components to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budgetCollaborate with software and mechanical engineers to design tool network topologies and analyze cabling routingThoroughly review all designs and drawings before final approvalSupport manufacturing and lab testing of electrical systems and assist with product failure analysisDocument issues encountered, troubleshooting steps, and corrective actions clearlyBreak down requirements into manageable tasks for testing and validationWhat are the minimum qualifications?Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience requiredAt least 5 years of experience designing electrical control systems using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLANMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; U.S. Citizenship is requiredStrong troubleshooting, debugging, and schematic reading skillsUnderstanding of automation engineering, control systems, and electrical equipmentProficient in AutoCAD Electrical and other design softwareKnowledge of electronic components, hardware, and softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSome travel (up to 20%) may be requiredWhat will make your résumé stand out?Experience with EPlanLocation: 100% on-site.
