Construction Site Superintendent / Project Manager

Tentative start date 4/1/25Cornell Custom Construction is looking for a new Project Manager / Superintendent for a commercial project! We specialize in luxury new-builds, complete home renovations/additions, and commercial projects in the Southern California area. Our owner, Toby Cornell, is a third Generation builder who took over the family business 27+ years ago. Cornell Custom Construction has been blessed to have been busy building dream homes ever since! We are a small but mighty team, and looking to add someone hardworking to our family!We have been blessed enough during this time to stay busy with new projects, and are currently looking for a full-time Site Superintendent / Project Manager to oversee an upcoming commercial project located in Ontario.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities would include:Ability to be on the jobsite site Monday - Friday (full time position)Schedule and manage all subcontractors on the job site Able to review and understand jobsite plansManage projects from planning to completionEnsure job is up to city codeEnsure all required materials, equipment, and inspections occur to support the project scheduleMonitor work to ensure it meets Cornell's standardsAble to travel to various material supply stores - if needed (Ex. Home Depot, Hardware stores, etc.)Keeping the job site organized and clean on a daily basisQualificationsMust have prior experience on commercial projectsDegree preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of commercial constructionGreat problem-solving and decision-making skillsMust know how to read and analyze construction plansExcellent communications skillsOrganizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization and multitaskingEffective leadership abilities, like motivation, goal-setting and conflict managementAbility to stand for several hours at a timeCapacity to lift up heavy objects when neededSalary is projected to start at $90k/year with room for negotiation depending on experience.For consideration, please apply on LinkedIn or email resume to jordan@
