Senior Manager, Accounting and Finance

Tidewater Staffing Solutions is assisting a Staffing firm in the Beachwood area with the search for a Senior Manager, Accounting & Finance. This is a newly created position with a fast-growing company, THIS IS A TERRIFIC OPPORTUNITY! This will be the company's first experienced senior level accounting and finance professional hire. POSITION OVERVIEWThe Senior Manager, Accounting and Finance will supervise and participate in all accounting and related compliance functions. This person will be responsible for process improvements including automation of general accounting processes. This role will interact with business line leaders, the senior management team, the outside CPA firm and a fractional CFO.DUTIES INCLUDE• Developing and maintaining financial controls.• Leading the monthly close process working closely with a fractional CFO. • Managing accounting staff and all AR and AP processes.• Leading the creation of budgets and forecasts.CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES & REQUIREMENTS• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.• 6+ years of relevant Accounting experience.• Strong Excel skills including proficiency with VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables.• "Working Manager" mindset.• Seeking tech savvy person capable of providing hands-on leadership related to future system improvements.
