Seeking a Denim and Non-Denim Designer with at least 5 years denim experience.Looking for a candidate with experience in denim and non-denim Experience in both the contemporary and off-price market is a plusFamiliarity with denim washed, construction, fabrications and treatmentsMaintain and update denim wash archivesWill assist Design Director to create seasonal mood boards, also with fabric direction, silhouettes, color and wash palettesMust be able to design at a price point and interpret trends that fit within brand's aestheticsPossess excellent sketching skills and is proficient in illustratorWill handle line development through production fit and approval processMust have fit experienceWork closely and develop strong partnerships with the sales and production teamsQUALIFICATIONS:Have a BA Degree in art/fashion with at least 5 years denim and non-denim experienceMust be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi taskUnderstands denim washing and treatmentsMust have garment construction and fit knowledgeMust be highly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel and simparel knowledge is a plus
