Our firm specializes in education law, special education law, public sector labor law, employment law, collective bargaining, administrative law and civil litigation on behalf of school districts in both State and Federal courts.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Associate with 5+ years' experience at Frazer & Feldman, LLP located in Westbury, NY. The Associate will be responsible for various day-to-day legal tasks, including conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, client communication, and case management. The role will primarily involve labor counsel responsibilities including contract grievances and arbitrations; improper practices before PERB and collective bargaining; and advice and counsel in general and labor counsel matters. QualificationsPublic or private sector collective bargaining experience Legal Research, Legal Writing, and Document Drafting skillsClient Communication and Case Management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAttention to detail and organizational skillsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolNew York State Bar admission
