Senior Mechanical Engineer

Allan Mechanical specializes in HVAC projects, cradle to grave construction, and installation. Allan Mechanical has experienced tremendous growth in new construction which led to this opportunity to seek a senior project management who can develop client relationships and management for their plan and spec Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Technology, and Institutional HVAC projects. Allan Mechanical is looking for a Senior Project Manager to:Responsibilities:Review a RFP from an Owner or General Contractor.Generate the HVAC estimate by performing material take-offs, estimating labor, and gathering equipment and subcontractor quotes. Create the proposal that clearly explains scope and intent.Write purchase orders for equipment and Subcontractors.Work with the Foreman and the installation team to fabricate and install the HVAC solution while maintaining the construction schedule and budget. Manage subcontractors for your project. Review monthly cost reports and project billings.Construction project management including site visits, coordination with trades, generating RFIs and Change Orders. Closeout the project by managing warranty items and closeout documents. Assist with business development by building rapport with new and existing clients, such as private owners, and general contractors.Requirements:At least 15 years of experience of managing commercial, institution, health care, or manufacturing HVAC projectsHVAC cost estimating. Passion and creativity in solving project challengesAbility to communicate (sometimes complex) HVAC solutions to clients with limited HVAC knowledge. Ability to work independently.Base $115k + Bonus (10% of gross profit that exceeds $250,000 annually)
