Job SummaryDuo Modern Restaurant at Market Hill in Round Top, Texas seeks a talented and passionate Executive Chef. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fine dining and food service management, with a strong focus on food production and kitchen management. As the Executive Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Experience with high volume while maintaining quality.DutiesDevelop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to diverse dietary needs.Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.Oversee food costing/price setting, inventory management, including ordering and maintaining proper stock levels.Knowledge of and ability to accommodate special dietary requests and restrictions.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen.Coordinate catering services for special events up to 300 guests, ensuring exceptional service delivery.Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, promoting teamwork among staff members.Demonstrated ability in operating a high quality and profitable restaurant.SkillsProven experience in fine dining establishments with a strong understanding of food service management principles.Expertise in food production techniques and kitchen management practices.Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team effectively.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in menu planning and execution.Knowledge of catering operations within the hospitality industry is highly desirable.Ability to adapt to changing demands while maintaining high-quality standards in food preparation.Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with other departments and staff members.Join Our Team: Here's your chance to be creative and see your culinary vision come to life.
