No Fault Claims Adjuster

We are seeking an Auto Claims Examiner to join our growing team.This position will be responsible primarily for the adjustment of first- and third-party auto property damage claims arising from general liability and auto liability coverages. The position also involves NY No-Fault (PIP) claims handling.How You Will ContributeCoverage assessment and verificationInvestigate, evaluate, and bring to a disposition all non-litigated claimsAssure the proper reserving of all lossesAssign and manage the activities of independent adjusters and other vendorsWork effectively with clients, brokers, attorneys and other departmentsIdentify subrogation potentialManage the subrogation processParticipate in mediation and arbitrationPreparing comprehensive claim correspondenceAttend training classes and/or secure professional designationsHandle NY PIP and Medical payments claimsMake recommendations as to reserves and disposition of claimsLicenses and Certifications: Active New York State General Adjuster's license (Series 17-70)Skills & Experience to Be Successful Bachelor's degree or life experienceExperience in handling commercial automobile claimsProfessional telephone demeanorProficient use of a PC3 to 5 years of experienceCompensation: The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $85,000, based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
