9 Months + Extensions or conversion to FTERedmond, WA - onsite Shift: Must be able to work Sun - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday (4x10 hour shifts)Must Haves:High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experienceRelevant high traceability manufacturing experience (Aerospace, Medical or related field)Hands-on work experience Electrical-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration and/or Harness Integration experienceExperience in a fast-paced production environmentHands-on experience with precision torque, measurement and inspection devices (i.e., automated and manual torque wrenches, torque drivers, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, optical inspection devices, multi-meters), as well as standard hand toolsNice to Have Skills and Experience:Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) and/or Avionics certification/licenseASE certification and/or equivalent experienceCFOT certification and/or equivalent experienceAbility reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/ or drawingsExperience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirementsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environmentPrior military service a plusJob Description:Amazon Kuiper is looking for Manufacturing Assembly Technicians for their Project Kuiper Team. To be successful you need to be highly motivated and detail oriented while showing the highest standards of execution.Key job responsibilities:Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locationsAssemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, handle and install fiber-optics, and PCBAsEnsure lab equipment is maintained and calibratedSupports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systemsIdentify equipment requirements, process improvements, maintain floor stock inventoryYou will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverablesExecute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenanceReceive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc)Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures
