CSE Electric is in a high growth mode and we are looking for a qualified General Superintendent for the Austin area to support our construction infrastructure. Join us as we are moving to a new Austin office later this year and have plans to expand our current footprint in the market!The CSE General Superintendent, known internally as the Project Resource Director, is the senior and primary supervisor in charge of all of our commercial construction jobsites for the Austin area. This position is heavily involved in the day to day while maintaining the overall strategic view of our project pipeline and workforce needs for every project.Some of the main responsibilities includeProvide general supervision to Austin area jobsite runners (foremen) and Field Superintendents in managing our field workforce, coaching employees to success, and maintaining our culture in everything we doManage labor needs, schedules, materials and equipment across all jobsites, acting as the area jobsite dispatcher (with input and involvement from Field Superintendents)Maintain communication with Superintendents, Field Superintendents, Project Manager(s), Purchasing and other office staff to ensure onsite project work complies with drawings, specifications, and scheduleCoordinate production and meetings with other trades/general contractor(s) to resolve conflictsRecognize and communicate to our Project Manager(s) any priority project problems, such as employee, job costing issues or any other needs for concernEnsures all worksites are adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements through regular jobsite visits by Field SuperintendentsEnsure jobsite foremen accurately document LMPs, work orders, time sheets, and daily reportsCoordinate with the Technical Mentoring Director in the San Antonio office to enhance technical training of onsite apprentice and foreman electricians, as well as enhance strategic project management processes especially in preconstruction and kickoff project meetingsThe position is a full-time, salaried/exempt level role. Compensation will start at $125,000 (or more, depending on experience). The typical work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, and is based in our current Austin home office located off of South Congress Avenue and Slaughter Lane.
