Recognized for unparalleled craftsmanship and timeless design, McKinnon and Harris furniture is appreciated by discerning clients worldwide.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role as a Showroom Manager & Sales Assistant located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The role involves daily tasks such as managing showroom operations, providing exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales through effective communication, product knowledge and able to assist in the sales department.Primary Purpose This role plays a pivotal part in bolstering the overall sales effort by supporting the sales team where needed and proactively engaging in direct sales activities with clients and high net worth individuals in and outside of the showroom. Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Sales Support Assist the sales team in prospecting research and qualification to optimize sales opportunities. Assist clients to refine and finalize quotations, including the preparation of layouts or imagery to aid in their selection process. Assist with pipeline management, meeting scheduling, and client presentations to enhance sales efforts. Organize showroom events and find creative ways to host clients in the showroom to see the latest furniture and fabric collections. Brand Ambassador & Sales: Qualify incoming leads and quote requests to ensure the best outcome for the client and McKinnon & Harris. Schedule presentations in and outside of the showroom when able. Proactively anticipate and address client needs and issues throughout the quoting and order process to deliver exceptional service. Develop a deep understanding of M&H products, features, and benefits to effectively respond to client inquiries. Serve as the primary point of contact, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of M&H's history, products, and values. Articulate M&H's commitment to crafting exceptional furniture. Showroom Management: Maintain the showroom's appearance and standards to reflect the luxury brand image. Promptly address maintenance issues to ensure a pristine showroom environment. Backend Post-Sale Support: Work with client services and order processing to resolve any discrepancies with client order or payment details, and "refer any post sale issues to client services for resolution and provide any local assistance needed or requested by the client or M&H in resolving post sale issues. Job RequirementsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, business, or related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3 years inside sales experience, preferably in the furniture industry. Must possess excellent verbal/written communications and organizational skills. Must be proficient in Accounting and Business Software, CRM software, Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
