We currently have an opening for an Industrial Maintenance Tech to join our team working from our Leola, PA location.Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be working in our maintenance department, supporting our production floor by maintaining and servicing the equipment and machines used day-to-day to meet production goals, including: troubleshooting equipment failures, routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical maintenance.Essential FunctionsCover all emergency breakdowns and repairs in a timely manner.Report problems with equipment, leaks, and other deficiencies and act as needed.Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program.Troubleshoots and repairs 3-phase motors up to 480v.Utilizes testing equipment including multi-meters.Electrical background preferred.Familiar with 480vAC,120vAC, 24vDC and 4-20mA systems.Have a basic understanding of pneumatics.Assess the operational state of equipment, filters, oil, hydraulics, compressors, motors, pumps, plumbing, and electrical systems and determine the course of action if needed.Ability to complete routine assignments without direct supervision.Maintain housekeeping standards.Self-motivated and experienced working in a manufacturing facility or similar environment.Ability to work safely following all safety rules and regulations.Perform additional duties as assigned.Skills & QualificationsPossess the skill and ability to perform all basic mechanical and electrical duties required.Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature, and pressure gaugesAbility to learn and understand manufacturing processes and able to inspect and repair or replace components.Proficient in reading and following basic blueprints, manuals, and mechanic and electrical schematicsExperience operating test equipment and/or softwareMechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot moderately complex problems including knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair, and maintenanceAbility to handle flexible work environment while meeting deadlinesStrong attention to detailAbility to strictly adhere to all safety standardsAbility to maintain consistent, punctual, and regular attendanceComplete a maintenance background testAbility to read and communicate in EnglishEducation and ExperienceMinimum of 2-3 years of well-rounded and progressive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, or comparable experience with trade school or trainingAt least 2-3 years of Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in industrial manufacturing)Strong problem-solving skillsSolid prior work historyWe are growing, come join our team!Benefits401(k) w/ company matchHealth Insurance (Capital BlueCross)Vision Insurance (NVA through Capital BlueCross)Dental Insurance (United Concordia)Life InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability (company paid)Employee assistance programPaid time off (PTO and Holiday)NO WAITING PERIOD FOR BENEFITSScheduleStandard Work Schedule:1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2:00pm to 10:00pm$1.50 shift premium for 2ndMandatory shift(s) or working before/past normal shift hours may be asked as well as MANDATORY OT on occasion.Environment and Physical DemandsStanding and walking on production floors which are concrete and/or sit in chair within office environmentAbility to read, hear, speak and use a computer to reason and problem solveAbility to distinguish colorsNormal hearing and range of visionRequires standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling throughout the work shiftAbility to work in hot/cold work environmentAbility to work in a noisy work environmentFloors may become slippery from "˜fluff' that is a bi-product of the production processEqual OpportunityRoss Industrial LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify.
